Silly Baby!

Lately Brayden has loved pulling big bowls or pots out and sitting in them!! It's so funny! He'll just sit there and drink his bottle or play with a toy! I took pictures of him in a bowl, but he sits in the crock pot too and I haven't taken any of that yet!

He's so cute, but it looks like I should've swept my floor before this picture was taken instead of after!!

3 of my favorite guys!

Too bad this picture doesn't have Alex in it, because it's such a cute picture! It was taken at my nieces birthday party at Jungle Jim's play land so I'm sure Alex is off somewhere riding the rides and playing games!

15 Month Check up!

Yesterday was Brayden's 15 Month check up! It ended up being a pretty crazy day! He was just scheduled for a well child check up, but right as we were pulling in to the Dr. office he threw up everywhere!! It was awful! It was all over his clothes, face, the car and car seat! So his check up ended up being a sick child check up! Luckily I had a change of clothes and the nurses were so nice to help me clean everything up! Poor little guy! I was hoping it was a one timer, but he threw up again today!! He doesn't act sick at all other than just the throwing up but before and after, he's walking around and smiling, so who knows! Hopefully he's really done this time! Anyway, I was worried about him getting his vaccinations if he was sick but the Dr. assured me that it would be fine as long as he wasn't running a fever! So he got 3 shots, 1 of which was his flu shot booster! I don't know how to turn the picture, but you can still see his cute little legs with the bandaids on them!

Oh and here's his stats! 30 1/2in and 19 lbs 12 oz! Yes, I know I have a little baby! One of these days we'll hit 20 lbs!

Haircuts!

Brayden finally got his first hair cut! I was pretty sad because I knew that that just meant he was growing up that much more! He looks like such a little man now instead of a baby! Adam and Alex also got haircuts too!

Getting ready!

Thanksgiving!

Since my blog was acting up, I couldn't make a Thanksgiving post earlier so I'll do it now! We had two Thanksgivings like we do every year. My side of the family always does ours on the Sat. after so that we can all go with our in-laws on Thanksgiving day, but my in-laws live in California, so that usually means we do our own on the day of that I get to cook! But this year we were invited to my Sister's in law's (yes I have two sister-in-laws that are actual sisters LOL) parents house! It was alot of fun and there was lots of great food and we really appreciate the invite! These pictures are from their house!

I forgot to bring my camera to my family's dinner on Sat. but we had a great time! It was a lot of fun seeing everyone and getting all the kids together! I love this time of year to reflect on all of the wonderful things I have in my life!

What I'm grateful for:
~First and formost, I'm so grateful for my husband! He's so amazing! He's such a great husband and father. I am so grateful that he wasn't afraid to be an instant father and has been there for Alex for as long as he can remember! There was a time when I didn't think someone like him would be in our lives, but God brought him to us right when we needed him and were ready for him! He is so great with Brayden too!! I love you so much, Adam!
~I am so grateful for my beautiful little boys! I don't know what my life would be without them! They are the reason that I do everything I do! I love them so much and am looking forward to adding some more little one's to the mix!
~I am grateful for my parents and my siblings! They made me who I am today and I have no idea where I'd be without their influence. I'm so happy that my sister's are my very best friends and I can turn to them whenever I need to! I love that my whole family gets along so well and it's so much fun when we get together!
~I'm grateful for the gospel! I can't imagine hom my life could have turned out if I didn't have the gospel in my life! I am grateful that Jesus died for me and that He loves me and my family so much! I am grateful for the knowledge we have and the plan that has been made for us!
~I'm grateful for my in-laws! They're the best! They've been there for us and helped us out when we needed it! They are wonderful grandparents to our children. I'm so glad that we get along so well and that they accepted me into their family so well. I wish we lived closer to eachother though and I'm looking forward to seeing them for New Years!
~I am grateful for our health and my husband's job security! Both are major blessings especially with the way things are right now in the world!

I am grateful for so much more than this, but I could go on and on!! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving this year and I am definately grateful for all of your friendships!!

Halloween pictures!

I know I took forever to post my Halloween pictures! This last week has been super busy, so here goes!

First we went to Alex's school parade. The kids just walk through the gym with their costuems on! It's cute to see all of the different costumes and Alex was very proud to show off his batman costume!

Next we went trick-or-treating at Daddy's office! All of the employees have candy at their desk and most of them dress up (Daddy didn't want to this year) and all the families can come! It was alot of fun and the kids got so much candy just from there. The first one is a picture of Brayden eating his very first sucker.

After that, we went to the ward trunk-or-treat. Here's Brayden, the dragon trying to escape

Daddy being a good sport, handing out candy! He wasn't feeling well that day!

Alex and Brayden ready to go!

This one shows Brayden's costume a little better! He was so cute!

Brayden and Daddy

When we got home Brayden went to bed and Daddy stayed and watched t.v. while Alex and I went out trick-or-treating in the neighborhood! As you can see, it was a really long day and the kids were exhausted! We had a great time though and we still have tonz of candy!!

Yay, I got tagged! My first tagging! LOL

Okay, so what you do is post the 4th picture in your 4th file and your 6th picture in your 6th file and explain them! Thanks for the tag Tami!

This is Alex and Adam from Alex's baptism day! It was such a special day to see Adam baptize him. Alex was so excited! He's such a great kid. Oh, and yes it's sideways, but I don't know how to turn it (LOL) but I figured it would give this post character! I was 9 months pregnant at this time so I'm glad the 4th picture wasn't of me!!!

This one is Brayden when he's probably about 4 days old, or so! You can see that he's still a bit yellow because he had a little bit of jaundice. He's so cute and tiny!!

Okay, now I tag Jessica, Melissa, Kristi and Megan!

I Love Halloween!

Halloween's fun anyway, but for me it has special meaning! Adam and I started officially dating (first kiss during a scary movie) on Halloween, 5 years ago today. One year later, Adam proposed to me on Halloween night!! You would think I would be expecting it because it was our one year anniversary, but I thought no way he's going to propose on Halloween, but sure enough, he did!! So there I was with dark black makeup streaming down my face as he's down on his knees with forty white candles surrounding us, and then we watched Killer Clowns From Outerspace afterward!! Oh, and might I add, I'm deathly afraid of clowns, so that's why he bought this movie!! How romantic!

So Happy Halloween everyone and happy 5th anniversary sweetie!! I love you! Thanks for making the last 5 years so amazing!

p.s. Halloween pictures to come later! :)

Just like Mommy...

Brayden got into my case of Diet Coke and wanted to "drink" some! He's not really drinking them of course, but these pictures Daddy took were just too cute!

Boo at the Zoo!

We went to Boo at the Zoo last Sat. I'm just now getting around to posting it! The kids enjoyed it, but it was pure chaos! I've been before and it wasn't this bad! Parking was terrible so we had to walk so far and there were soo many kids there, it's amazing no one lost a child! LOL But, negativity aside, we did have fun! We probably wont go next year though, we'll probably just have our own halloween party at home!

Here's pictures of Alex and Brayden. Alex is Batman and Brayden is a bat. The costume is a little small so he's going to be a dragon on halloween, but this worked for boo at the zoo!

This is my adorable nephew Jacob and sister-in-law Jessica

These are of my cutest ever niece, Kallie as Raggedy Ann! Isn't she the cutest!!

Cornbelly's!

Wednesday we went to Cornbelly's! The kids had fun, but it was freezing cold! I wish we had gone on a different night, but what can you expect for end of October! I would've taken more pictures, but we all wanted to stay bundled up. We went through the maze, rode the cow train, jumped on the big "pillow" and did various little things there. We would've done more had it not been so windy and cold! Next year! We went to Chili's afterward and had dinner! It was a great evening spent as a family!

Daddy making sure Brayden's bundled up! I love this picture!

My silly boys!

Someone needs a haircut!

Brayden's hair is getting soo long! He's never had a haircut before, so I think he's due for his first one! Stay tuned for haircut pictures! Both boys need haircuts and then I'll get some cute pictures taken of them together!

Can't leave him alone for a second...

Brayden is sometimes such a little stinker!! A cute stinker, but still a stinker! If I let him out of my sight for a couple of minutes, especially if it's suddenly really quiet, I know he's into something he shouldn't be! Like in these pictures, where he's unloading all of my little drawers in the bathroom!!

He's too cute to stay mad at! Just wait until you see what he does to daddy's DVD's! I'll take a pic next time!
